Borut Štrukelj, MSc Pharm, PhD, from the Department of Pharmaceutical Biology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana, emphasizes the significance of the project: 'Through awarding selected works, the project enhances awareness and promotes the importance of research for the development of medical science in the region and contributes to the diagnosis and treatment of disease.'
